Karen Lee
Founder / President

Karen Lee is an entrepreneur, philanthropist and visionary. As a former professional commercial dancer, she owned her own dance and fitness training business. Following endeavors included attaining high levels of excellence as a real estate investor and licensed realtor. Karen is currently building a successfully lucrative business in e-commerce.

Karen has always been extremely ambitious and driven and began training as an equestrian at age 7. As a natural athlete, she then trained as a swimmer, ran track in Jr. high school, played softball, field hockey and tennis in high school and swam on the state championship team in Jr. college. As a dancer she became professional in a very short time. However, horses and dancing have always been her passion and remain so to this day.

As an adult, Karen has always found great purpose in contributing back through her charity causes, which include the American Red Cross, US Marine, "Toys for Tots," Epilepsy Alliance of Orange County, Violence Against Women & Girls and now, her own heart-felt cause, the "Joanne Lee Foundation, Inc."

Scott M. Estill, Esq.
Treasurer

Scott M. Estill is a graduate of the University of Illinois (BA 1983), the John Marshall Law School, Chicago, Illinois (JD 1988 with High Honors), and is admitted to practice law before the Illinois and Colorado Supreme Courts, along with the United States Tax Court and various United States District Courts.

He is a senior partner in Estill & Long, LLC, a Denver-based law firm, and specializes in tax and business entity planning, tax return prepara-tion/planning and the resolution of tax controversies before the IRS and all State Departments of Revenue. Since June 2008, he has been serving in an “Of Counsel” role to the law firm. He is a former IRS Senior Trial Attorney in Chicago, IL, and Judicial Clerk in the Illinois Appellate Court.

Mr. Estill has also written several books on taxes, including Tax This! An Insider’s Guide to Standing up to the IRS (Self Counsel Press; Sixth Edition Jan. 2009), The Real Estate Investor’s Tax Edge (First Edition 2006; to be published by John Wiley and Sons - Oct. 2009), The Tax Deduction Business Kit (Tax Strategies and Solutions Ltd., First Edition Jan. 2009), and The Tax Compliance Guide for Small Businesses (Tax Strategies and Solutions, Ltd. Sixth Edition Jan. 2009).

Kim Coopersmith

Kim Coopersmith was born and raised in Denver, CO., graduating in 1973 from Arvada West High. Upon graduation she worked for a high end health spa for 9 years, gaining in-depth knowledge about nutrition and exercise which remains important in her life today. With a deep love for horses, she then moved to Casper, WY where she worked with and sold horses. Upon her marriage and a move to Billings, Montana, she soon relocated to Los Angeles to be involved in the motion picture industry in hair/makeup.

In 1995 Kim opened Coopersmith's for Hair in Valley Village. She lives life as an honest person, great problem solver, improviser, and by being an inspiration to others. Her projectional identification comes very strongly by way of her own life experiences!

Jodie Roffers

Jodie Roffers is an experienced and seasoned independent visual communications artist and owner/operator of JoDzigns. Physically located in Los Angeles, she brings her expertise from the advertising and editorial arenas. Specializing in presentation of content and "word smithing," she has over 30 years of creative practice in publishing, marketing, and related fields.

Passionately involved in the arts from an early age, academic education includes courses in Advanced Typesetting & Copy Preparation at Riverside City College, Beginning and Advanced Mac-based Quark Express at Mind Over MacIntosh in Culver City, and Certification in Visual Communications at the Multi Media Institute in Studio City, CA. She has previously held positions with Smart & Final, International Video Entertainment, NBC, Rangefinder and Photo Lab Magazines, Bernard Hodes Advertising and The Mellinger Co., amongst others.

Her years of experience, artistic ability and creative thinking for designing eye-catching and effective graphics in a visually appealing layout allows her to bring you and your company's vision to life.
